Wuhan Metro Line 3 Sixin Avenue Station——New Rhyme of Waterscape

Located in the core of Sixin Area, Hanyang District, this themed station of Wuhan Metro Line 3 adopts the design concept of Charm of Waterscape, presenting the unique waterfront urban culture of Wuhan with an immersive ecological artistic space.

We undertook customized engraving, color deep processing, modular assembly and on-site installation for the 30m-long and 3m-high large-scale layered art glass mural. Composed of 30 pieces of safety tempered glass with 4 to 6 laminated layers, the mural features carved and ink-dyed native plant patterns. Relying on optical refraction and backlight diffuse technology, it creates a changing hazy scenery effect when passengers move along the wall. All patterns are sealed inside laminated glass to realize fade-proof, moisture-proof and explosion-proof performance suitable for high-traffic underground transit environments.

Each glass unit is precisely numbered and seamlessly spliced to ensure the integrity of the ultra-long landscape. All glass panels comply with rail transit fire safety codes, perfectly integrating oriental natural aesthetics with commercial glass engineering, making this project a benchmark case for public art transformation of urban rail transit spaces.
